Overview
Starwalker Enterprises LLC ("Starwalker," "we," "us," or "our") offers a straightforward refund policy for LA Civil Code Reader access purchases. We want you to feel confident in your purchase. If the product does not meet your needs, you can request a refund within the window described below.
Refund eligibility — Study Pass (app)
The Study Pass ($29.99 introductory charge for 90 days of access, then $4.99/month until canceled) is eligible for a full refund of the initial $29.99 charge only if a request is submitted within 7 calendar days of that initial purchase date.
Monthly renewal charges ($4.99/month) are non-refundable. Canceling stops future billing but does not refund prior renewal months, except where required by applicable law.
Refund eligibility — Micro-PDFs
One-time micro-PDF purchases ($9–$19) are refundable within 7 calendar days only if the PDF has not been delivered or downloaded. Delivered PDFs are non-refundable except where required by law.
Product access context
LA Civil Code Reader is a navigation companion for searching and understanding densely written Louisiana code alongside your official Secretary of State study guide and other prep materials. It is not a replacement for official study materials, not legal advice, and not affiliated with the Louisiana Secretary of State.
Study Pass access is time-based as described at checkout. Preliminary Title (Articles 1–14) preview content may remain available without a paid pass. Access passes are non-transferable.
How to request a refund

- Subject line: Refund Request
- The email address used at checkout.
- The product purchased (e.g., "Civil Code Sprint Pass").
- Your purchase date or Stripe order confirmation number, if available.
We aim to confirm receipt of all refund requests within one business day.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank. We do not issue refunds via alternative payment methods, gift cards, or store credit.
Payment processing fees
Payment processing fees charged by our payment processor (Stripe) at the time of the original transaction are non-refundable. These fees represent approximately 3% of the purchase total and cannot be recovered once a transaction is processed. Your refund will reflect the full purchase price minus these third-party processing fees.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer before contacting us for a refund, we may be unable to process a voluntary refund in parallel. We encourage you to contact us directly first at the email above. We respond promptly and will work to resolve any issue without requiring a dispute process.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the latest version posted on this page. Purchases are subject to the policy in effect at the time of transaction.
