Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, products, software, content, and services provided by Starwalker Enterprises LLC ("Starwalker," "we," "us," or "our"), including LA Civil Code Reader. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Educational use only

LA Civil Code Reader is an independent educational study supplement. It does not provide legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and should not be used to perform, draft, evaluate, or rely on real-world legal instruments or transactions.

You are responsible for purchasing and using the current official statutes and complying with all Louisiana state laws and regulations.

No affiliation or guarantee

Starwalker Enterprises LLC and LA Civil Code Reader are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the Louisiana Secretary of State, any university, testing provider, or any government agency.

We do not guarantee that use of LA Civil Code Reader or any related materials will result in passing any examination or achieving any specific legal result.

Early access and product changes

Some services may be offered in beta, preview, private setup, or early access. Features may change, be delayed, contain errors, or be discontinued. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time.

Accounts and acceptable use

If account access is provided, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account. You agree not to:

• Use the services for unlawful, harmful, misleading, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to bypass access controls, security measures, usage limits, or payment requirements.
• Scrape, copy, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the services without permission.
• Submit confidential, privileged, or sensitive information into AI-assisted study tools.
• Use the services to obtain legal advice or assist with real legal matters.

AI-assisted content

AI-assisted features may generate incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated responses. You are responsible for verifying study information against official materials and applicable rules. AI outputs are provided for educational support only and should not be treated as authoritative legal guidance.

Payments and access terms

The Study Pass is $29.99 for the first 90 days of premium access, then $4.99 per month until you cancel. Billing terms are disclosed at checkout. Monthly renewals are non-refundable; canceling stops future charges. See our Refund Policy for the 7-day window on the initial charge.

LA Civil Code Reader is a navigation companion for searching and understanding Louisiana code alongside official study materials. It is not a replacement for the Secretary of State study guide, not legal advice, and not affiliated with the Louisiana Secretary of State. Access is personal and non-transferable.

Intellectual property

The services, software, site design, product names, original study explanations, workflows, and related materials are owned by Starwalker Enterprises LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the services only as permitted by these Terms.

Third-party resources

We may link to official resources, study materials, payment processors, hosting providers, or other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party websites, content, policies, fees, availability, or practices.

Disclaimers

The services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Starwalker Enterprises LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, exam outcomes, business interruption, or reliance on educational or AI-assisted content.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the latest version posted on this page. Continued use of the services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
